Can I move the the JFrame menu bar to the top of the screen like just like standard Apple applications?

Yes. Simply the 'Mac Menu Bar/ check-box. Note; if your application has multiple windows, you might consider using the 'Always on Top' method with your applications main JFrame. Otherwise, when this JFrame looses focus, your menu bar will no longer appear at the top of the screen.

Does Pyxis Bundler work with Oracle or Apple Java?

Pyxis Bundler works with both Apple's Java and Oracle' newer Java 1.7 and 1.8 releases. So you can bundle applications for older Macs 10.6+ right up the computers running the latest Oracle Java releases.  

Can I Include my own JRE in application?

Yes. This works with Oracle Java 1.7 and above. Will Pyxis Bundler package Java applications for the App Store?

This is our ambition, but we are not yet at this stage as Pyxis Bundler is a relatively new product. Over the coming months we plan to take this application, Pyxis Bundler, to the app store. This will potentially involve updates to the application that will hopefully make it straightforward for others to bundle their Java application for Apple's online marketplace.

Is there a discount for a second licence?

All Pyxis licences allow the two installations, subject to terms and conditions. For the most part, it can installed twice for the same price. 

Where is the Default Splash saved?

The default splash file is saved to your Home Directory -> App_Bundler_Data -> MacApp_Bundler_Assets_Directory. The file name is defaultSplash.png.  Fee free to edit this file or the defaultICNS.icns file, also saved to this folder, as you wish for your own use. Note that you are not restricted to this size of a splash file. By the way, the image above is the actual file, so depending on the browser you are using, you may be able to right click and copy or save this image!

What do I enter in the Reverse Domain Identifier filed?

This is your package name. Note that Pyxis Bundler requires a properly formatted package name in the format of a domain name in reverse. This should uniquely identify your application. In the case of Pyxis, we use ie.pyxis.project, replacing 'project' with the actual name of the project. This reverse domain can be longer, if for example, you develop different types of applications. We could use, for example: ie.pyxis.developer.project or for another project ie.pyxis.games.exclusivegame  - Note that a single word package name will not work.

My Application bundle is created but if fails to run. What should I check?

First ensure that your package name is entered correctly - exactly as it appears in you project (see above Q&A). This is case sensitive and if your project contains multiple packages, you must enter the package that contains your main class. Also, ensure you spell your Main Class name correctly. This too is case sensitive. Do not use the java extension. So the class name for the project above is TestWin and not TestWin.java, as may appear in your package explorer. Also double check that the package reference appears above the imports at the top of each class (as shown above). If any library folders are exported with your main jar file, ensure that these are imported into the Additional Application Resources list. 

The application runs on my development computer but a user reports seeing a message that the Application is damaged and should be moved to the trash. 

From experience we note that this message can appear if the bundle is not singed. There may be other reasons, but unsigned code does cause this message to appear or more recent Apple operating systems. So the first thing is to sign your code with a valid code_signing certificate.
